At Renewal by Andersen of Washington, giving back is at the heart of who we are. Through our Renewal Cares initiative, we’re proud to announce our newest community partnership with Communities In Schools of Tacoma (CIS Tacoma). An organization dedicated to ensuring every student has the resources and support they need to thrive.
This August, Renewal Cares is sponsoring the Stuff the Bus Block Party & School Supply Drive, helping local students begin the school year with confidence and the supplies they need to succeed.
Investing in Tacoma’s Future
For many children, the first day of school can come with unnecessary obstacles. Arriving without essential school supplies can affect a student’s confidence, readiness to learn, and overall academic experience.
Communities In Schools of Tacoma works to remove those barriers by connecting students and families with critical resources that support both academic success and overall well-being. Their annual Stuff the Bus Block Party is one of the organization’s most impactful community events, bringing together businesses, volunteers, educators, and local families to ensure students are prepared for a successful school year.
