June Giving Back: Supporting Big Dreams in Seattle Washington

Written by: Kathryn Marriott

As excitement builds for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 matches coming to Seattle, we’re reminded that the future of our community is shaped by the next generation. For the month of June, we’re proud to support the YMCA of Greater Seattle and its BASE (Before and After-School Enrichment) program by donating $5 from every window or door sold to help children and families across Western Washington.

The YMCA’s BASE program creates safe, supportive spaces where kids can learn, grow, and thrive outside of school hours. Through hands-on STEM activities, arts, physical activity, and social-emotional learning, the program helps children build confidence, creativity, and leadership skills in a caring environment. The organization also works to ensure that financial barriers never prevent families from accessing quality youth programs and enrichment opportunities.

The YMCA of Greater Seattle has been operating Before and After School programs since the 1970s, supporting generations of local families and serving thousands of children across the community over the years. Today, the impact of the BASE program continues to grow, reaching thousands of children annually through safe, supportive spaces where students can learn, build friendships, and thrive outside of school hours.
